Men's Ministries:

 

The Men's Ministries' mission of Yucaipa First Assembly is to effectively reach, teach and release men to grow to their full potential in Christ. Men are equipped and empowered to be all that they can be for Christ.

Five building blocks that contribute to this goal are:

• Prayer.

• Balanced emphasis on being versus doing - what a man becomes versus what he does.

• Gender-specificity - activities targeted at men are tailored for men.

• Intentional focus - clear vision of goals, purpose and meaning.

• Pastoral involvement
  

Some ministry facts:
Senior Pastor Joél Vincent leads the Men’s Ministries. The anchor of the ministry is a weekly Saturday morning prayer meeting which has been in place since January of 2001. It puts on occasional Saturday morning breakfasts. Otherwise the men who are available like to go out for breakfast after every Saturday morning prayer time. They participate in helping widows and the cleanup of their yards. They participate once a year in helping Camp Pinecrest in the San Bernardino Mtns with whatever work is needed. Some things they have done have been: repairing the kitchen furnace, welding, yardwork, and repairing vehicles.

They go to the annual Men’s Conference at Camp Pinecrest in the Fall of the year.

The ministry started the Spanish Ministry of the church in July of 2004.

They have vision to start other ministries.
